Following a rough shooting performance in the first two games of the series, New York Knicks' guard RJ Barrett finally found his rhythm in Game 3 against the Atlanta Hawks. Barrett's 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists played a crucial role in the Knicks' 105-94 victory.

Barrett Breaks Slump with 19-Point Performance

Barrett's struggles in the series up until this point were evident, shooting just 6-of-22 from the field in the first two games. However, the sophomore guard quickly put his shooting woes behind him, scoring 11 points in the first quarter alone. He shot an impressive 8-of-15 from the field, including 3-of-6 from beyond the arc, and also added 2 steals to his stat line.

The Knicks' win in Game 3 was crucial, as they were down 0-2 in the series and in danger of being swept by the Hawks. Barrett's breakout performance, along with Julius Randle's 21 points and Derrick Rose's 26 points off the bench, helped the Knicks avoid falling into a seemingly insurmountable hole.

Knicks Secure Crucial Victory in Must-Win Game

Barrett's struggles in the first two games of the series were not indicative of his overall play this season. He finished the regular season averaging 17.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game, and was a key piece in the Knicks' surprising playoff run.

The Knicks will need Barrett to continue his strong play if they hope to come back and win the series against the Hawks. Game 4 is set to take place on Sunday, and with the series now at 2-1 in favor of the Hawks, the Knicks will need to come out with the same intensity and energy that they displayed in Game 3.

In conclusion, RJ Barrett's breakout performance in Game 3 was a much-needed boost for the Knicks. With his shooting slump behind him, Barrett and the Knicks will look to even the series at 2-2 on Sunday.
